The focus of our chapter is to address the educational needs of our community, including critical care and acute care nursing. We provide an opportunity to network and mentor, and an opportunity to share clinical experience and expertise. We constantly strive to incorporate evidence-based practice in order to ensure excellence in patient care. All while meeting the challenge of reaching out to all our members in our “rural,” far-reaching community here in the interior of Alaska.
